Why is this happening to me?

Ok, so I enter the Peace Corps and get sent to Jamaica....and what happens? The Cleveland Indians, my home team, are having the best season in 5 years in the playoffs and are on the verge of going to the World Series for the first time in 10 years - my freshman year in college. If I were sent to any other Peace Corps country, then I wouldn't have a chance to watch the games and wouldn't care. But Jamaica is very "connected" with the outside world - they have internet (about DSL speed is the fastest), virtually everybody has a cell phone, and a lot have cable TV. The one problem is that I don't have internet nor cable in my home. I was able to find the first couple of games against the Yankees, but have been unlucky of late. There seems to be a problem with Fox being carried island-wide. There also is the problem of being out late at a bar and having to catch a taxi home. If the Tribe does go to the World Series I will probably blow a gasket.
