On Sunday I competed in my second race ever. It was the High Mountain 10K Road Race in Williamsfield, Manchester. There was a group of 10 of us that participated from Peace Corps - 4 ran it and 6 walked it, including my wife Mrs. Zed. It was very difficult as the first 4K is uphill. I ran the entire way with my time being about an hour; the winning time was under 40 minutes. The results haven't been published yet, but they'll soon come. The best part is that the race was free to enter and all participants received a free t-shirt and bag of High Mountain coffee.
