We are back in Kingston for Tech week. Pretty exhausting with all day classroom work. It's been pretty difficult for me as I've been sick again this week with a fever, soar throat and running belly. I've also had a soar back for several weeks. It is starting to feel better, however. I went back to the docta today for a follow-up visit. It's a very interesting experience as the same guy that prescribes anti-inflammatory is the same one who prescribes flu medicine. Let's get it all done in one shot, shall we? At least we didn't have the football game going on in the background. I'm pretty frustrated with the whole situation - I've been in J-ca for 5 weeks and I've only felt 100% for less than a week. I suppose I am still getting acclimated to the climate. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to getting back to the real J-ca this weekend.
J-ca just celebrated Emancipation Day on 1-Aug. Monday is Independence Day (6-Aug) and Tuesday is Nomination day for the elections. It's an interesting time to be in J-ca with the elections and all. People are really passionate about their political parties here.
