On the Island 1 Year

It's official we've been on the land of wood and water for one year. We got here on July 3 and were greeted by current serving volunteers, the country director, PC staff and the director of the Peace Corps Ron Tschetter. The director doesn't typically welcome new volunteers, but last year was the 45th year that Peace Corps has been in Jamaica. The year has gone by fast, but slow at times.
